Building intelligent, AI-driven defenses for real-world cyber threats.
Modern digital infrastructures are increasingly complex, distributed, and intelligent, spanning cloud platforms, IoT systems, cyber-physical environments, and critical services. In such settings, traditional rule-based cybersecurity approaches are no longer sufficient. Artificial intelligence is emerging as a key enabler for building adaptive, proactive, and intelligent security systems capable of operating at scale and speed.
This workshop introduces participants to the role of artificial intelligence in modern cybersecurity, focusing on how AI techniques can be used to detect threats, assess risks, and support automated response in dynamic digital environments. Participants will explore how machine learning, anomaly detection, and large language model-based copilots are applied in real-world cybersecurity systems used in industry and government.
The workshop combines short interactive inputs with extensive hands-on activities, case studies, and group-based challenges. Participants will work in teams to analyze realistic cyber-attack scenarios and develop an AI-assisted cybersecurity proof of concept addressing intrusion detection, risk assessment, or incident response. The final outcome will be a tangible prototype or visual demonstration prepared for public exhibition.
This workshop addresses the emerging global trend of AI-driven cybersecurity, a field identified by the World Economic Forum as critical for the future of digital trust and resilience. Offering this workshop equips participants with practical skills, industry-relevant knowledge, and an understanding of how AI transforms cybersecurity from reactive defense to intelligent trust management.
