From Cells to Code, From Models to Medicine
This workshop offers an immersive 10-day journey into the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence in medicine, designed for a diverse group of students from Informatics, Engineering, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Pharmacy. No prior coding experience is required. Our core mission is to use AI for medical applications, focusing on computational medical imaging and the ethical challenges of building fair and unbiased systems. The workshop offers a unique parallel-track system: after learning core concepts together, participants can choose between a "Pro-Code" track for participants with a programming background and a "No-Code/Low-Code" track for participants without. This ensures that every participant, regardless of their technical background, can actively participate and contribute. In the no-code track, you will use visual, user-friendly platforms to train AI models and build simple applications, allowing you to bring your unique domain knowledge to life. The workshop ends with a interdisciplinary team project where teams merge, real-world AI development and build complete health systems that are AI-based.
