The workshop challenges participants to explores how interactive playgrounds can be inspired by urban art.

In contrast to the tradtional way of designing, this workshop challenges participants to explores how interactive playgrounds can be inspired by urban art. We will move across different disciplines and switching between them to understand the overlaps between urban sapce, public art, and design to let our imagination go freely, resting our mind from the tradtional problem-solving constraints involved in design boring ideas. By visiting and discovering the best street art locations in Berlin, and observing and drawing shapes, colors, and cultural stories found in the city’s art, we will reimagine design features that refelct the aesthetic of Berlin’s urban enviorment. The workshop combines traditional and AI design tools to create interactive design sturcures that align with Berlin’s urban art landscape. The results will be presented in the form of an installation for a public exhibition.
