Exploring Berlin's rich food culture and designing a porcelain decore.

In the workshop we will explore Berlin’s culinary culture, visit local markets and food courts and look over the shoulder of local entrepreneurs. Furthermore we will reflect and discuss the groups own cultural influences on dishes and traditions at the table. This serves as a starting point for developing the decor of a porcelain service. For the process of designing the decor we will experiment and apply analogue, digital and AI tools. We design the decor with printable foils especially made for porcelain.
