The goal of this workshop is to create an encouraging environment for beginner-level Arabic oriental singers, helping them build confidence to perform on stage. To achieve this confidence, singers need to be technically prepared and equipped to handle challenging or high-pitch songs effectively. Key skills for participants include: Knowing the optimal moments to breathe during a performance, adding their personal touch or "signature" to the song, managing complex, non-monotonic melodies, harmonizing effectively with instruments, singing cohesively in a chorale, performing a flawless duet. Additionally, the workshop will focus on enhancing listening skills, as strong listening abilities are essential for becoming a great singer. Participants will learn to identify and address their weaknesses rather than avoiding them, a critical factor in developing as a successful performer.
