Master of Science in Accounting & Financial Analysis
This Master program provides advanced knowledge and skills in both fields of Accounting and Finance with the ability to integrate both fields and apply specialized state-of-the-art knowledge to address research and practice-related issues in Financial Analysis.
The Master of Science study program in Accounting & Financial Analysis consists of 4 semesters. Students earn a total of 120 ECTS credit points according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System.
The study program includes the following modules
Scientific Skills and General Studies: strong competencies in scientific methods and other academic skills are prerequisites for the success of the study program; as far as students have already acquired these in their Bachelor studies, they can broaden their academic horizon through electives in various fields.
Advanced Scientific Skills: to strengthen the research competencies students must advance their skills to a higher level of research methodology and quantitative analysis; furthermore, specific research competencies are to be developed in the selected area of specialization that will also be the domain for the Master thesis.
